Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church Usher Ministry
“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” (Psalm 84:10)
Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church Usher Ministry was founded over eight decades ago in 1936. The Usher Ministry is instrumental in providing the first introduction to the Mt. Olive worship experience by greeting and seating members, visitors, and friends. The ushers work in partnership with the Pastor to help ensure that the service flows in a decent and orderly manner. The Usher Ministry is instrumental in keeping order and creating a spirit of worship, reverence, and friendliness in and about the church.
The Usher Ministry attends district and state conference to remain proficient in the Lord’s work.
